Linton Village Hall is approximately 5 miles from Ross on Wye, 18 miles from Gloucester, 16 miles from Hereford and close to Junction 3 of the M50.  The Hall is in the centre of the village of Linton and has its own car parking facilities and a pretty garden with mature trees, flower beds and a lawned area.

The Hall was built in 1872 as the village school, thanks to the initiative of the local Rector, the Reverend Edward Palin, great grandfather of Michael Palin.  When the school closed ownership was passed to the village and it reopened in 1961 as Linton Village Hall. It was completely refurbished in 2000 and now offers a spacious environment with up to date facilities.

As well as the main hall with its oak-beamed ceiling, there is a separate meeting room, linked to the main hall by double-doors that can be opened to make a larger space.  The Hall has an excellent PA system.  The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a serving hatch to the meeting room.

It is suitable for both large and small events, indoors or out, and has been used recently for wedding receptions, funeral wakes, Christening parties, children’s parties and other family gatherings, business away-days.

A bar license can be arranged.

It is also possible to hire the equipment such as cutlery, china, glasses, cafetières, tables and chairs etc. for events away from the village Hall.

Prices are available on request.
